In our dynamic work environment, you have the tools, space, support, platform, mentorship, and teammates to help you grow and succeed - whatever success might look like to you.Your Role in Our Story:In essence, your role involves:Actively participating in building a new country business line, and having a strategic and tactical approach to implement a solid base for future growthBuilding your own client portfolio through direct prospecting and networking to originate new business and increase market shareUnderstanding and identifying arbitrage opportunities in the renewable energy commodity market to originate deal flow for your trade bookCreating strategic trade solutions to ensure obligated parties reach their compliance goalsDeveloping an understanding of the landscape within the market including product knowledge, industry challenges, legislative and geopolitical changesMaintaining and leveraging relationships in the Brazilian renewable energy sectorRepresenting the firm at conferences and engage with stakeholders within the industryYour Expertise:To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese; Spanish a big plus3-5 years of sales, trading, brokerage or account management roleHighly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quicklyStrong leadership skills; ability to inspire and motivate a teamDemonstrates a strong entrepreneurial mindset, think in solutionsAbility to build a strong business network and use itHas been successful in drafting and delivering a Business Plan and/or building a business from scratchHas a pre-existing experience with working with Brazil corporates; an already existing BR client portfolio would be a plusPrevious sales, cold calling, outreach, prospecting experienceUndergraduate Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Environmental Studies or a related fieldNote: this role is based 100% onsite in our Miami officeSalary Range: $80,000-$95,000 + discretionary bonusActual base pay may vary based on various factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, level and experience.
