We're proud to be Certified as a Great Place to Work, with employee satisfaction and retention in the 95th percentile.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Indemnity Adjuster with 5+ years of workers' compensation claim handling experience. In this role, you will investigate and adjust primarily Colorado claims, with potential opportunities to handle Utah claims. Utah experience is a plus, though not mandatory.Responsibilities:Investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims in accordance with CCMSI guidelines and procedures.Review medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices to ensure they are reasonable and related to ongoing claims.Negotiate and resolve any disputed bills.Authorize and process payments for workers' compensation claims within your settlement authority.Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys as authorized by the client.Assist with selecting and overseeing defense attorneys.Monitor and pursue subrogation claims for resolution.Prepare detailed reports on claims, payments, and reserves.Provide reports and monitor files required by excess insurers.Deliver quality claim services and comply with established service commitments.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:5+ years of workers' compensation claim handling experience is required.Experience with Colorado claims is required.Utah claim handling experience is a plus.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks.Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.Responsive to internal and external client needs.Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a changing environment.Education and/or Experience:Associate's degree is preferred.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Colorado Adjusters license is preferred, or the ability to obtain within first 60 days of hire.Computer Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Work Hours:Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMWhy CCMSI?Culture: We value integrity, passion, and enthusiasm in how we treat our employees and clients.Career Development: Structured programs for career advancement, including internships and internal training.Benefits: 4 weeks of PTO in your first year, 10 paid holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401K, and ESOP.Work Environment: Supportive atmosphere with manageable caseloads and the resources needed to succeed.Core Values & Principles:Employees are expected to uphold CCMSI's Core Values and Principles, which include performing with integrity; passionately focus on client service; embracing a client-centered vision; maintaining contagious enthusiasm for our clients; searching for the best ideas; looking upon change as an opportunity; insisting upon excellence; creating an atmosphere of excitement, informality and trust; focusing on the situation, issue, or behavior, not the person; maintaining the self-confidence and self-esteem of others; maintaining constructive relationships; taking the initiative to make things better; and leading by example.Ready to grow your career with a company that values you?
