Fund Controller(Hybrid Flexibility)

American Landmark Apartments is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated Fund Controller to be based out of our beautiful Tampa, FL corporate office! Hybrid flexibility is offered!American Landmark is a private equity firm investing in multi-family properties. This role works closely with external auditors and Company management in providing accurate and timely financial information.We are a fast growing Property Management Company looking for dynamic "can-do" attitudes. Our offices are exciting, fast paced and we expect only the best.Scope of work consists of but is not limited to the following:• Manage Fund Accounting Team (Currently one supervisor and three accountants)• Manage reporting deadlines• Liaison with fund administrators and external auditors• Maintain GAAP financials for multiple "Funds" and its' related entities• Maintain Investment and investor equity schedules• Review quarterly audit workpapers and SOX backup requirements• Perform special projects as needed and provide support to the accounting and finance management teamsRequirements:• Bachelors in Accounting• Certified Public Accountant• 5-7 years of Fund accounting experience preferred• Strong analytical skills• Strong Excel skills• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as solid interpersonal skills.Compensation:• Competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits package and bonus system• Three weeks' vacation per year• Education/Tuition Reimbursement• Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental and Vision Plan• Short and Long-Term Disability• 401K Retirement Plan w/ matchBackground & drug screening are a requirement.We are an equal opportunity employer.ALIND123
