*#TeamF**Job Title:* Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)*Location:* New York, NY 10016*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate *Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)* to join our *Rehabilitation Medicine Department*. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in therapy and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in acute clinical and healthcare settings. This role involves providing high-quality mental health care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD-10 coding standards. As an LCSW in a hospital setting, you will ensure that clients' emotional and psychological needs are met effectively, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.*Responsibilities** Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.* Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on client goals and needs.* Provide therapy services using evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), as appropriate.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD-10 coding standards.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with developmental disabilities.* Advocate for clients within the healthcare system and connect them to necessary resources.* Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work.*Qualifications** *Education:* Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.* *Licensure:** Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by NYSED (Primary Source Verification required).* *Experience:** Experience in acute clinical and healthcare settings (required).* Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred).* Training or experience in special education (a plus).* *Skills:** Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and documentation standards.* Strong knowledge of systems theory as it relates to social work practice.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.*Why Join Us?*If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
