Candidates must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.Overview:The Staff Accountant is responsible for the financial and operational accounting for multiple apartment home communities, including financial statement preparation and account analysis. The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Controller.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close for a large multi-family portfolioPreparing monthly bank reconciliations and resolving all discrepanciesEnsuring all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and proceduresEnsuring all financial reporting deadlines are metEnsuring accurate and appropriate recording of revenues and expensesAssisting with year-end auditsAssisting with additional projects as neededExperience/Education Requirements:Must hold a completed Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance1-2 years accounting experienceYardi experience preferredDetail-oriented and organizedProficient user of ExcelWe've Got You Covered!Medical, Dental & Vision.
