Whether you have many years of experience or are in the early stages on your career, you can find a rewarding position at Grady!SUMMARYThe Case Management Supervisor (CMS) assists in providing oversight and direction for the day-to-day operations of the case management department. The position serves as a liaison between department managers, case managers and support staff. This position supports management leadership in the development of work processes, implementation of changes that effect established departmental goals, and evaluation for continued improvement. The position also partners with management leadership in development and maintenance of educational resources to ensure staff development and make certain the department maintains compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. The CMS shares responsibility with manager for collection, analysis, evaluation, and presentation of clinical and operational data to appropriate audiences.QUALIFICATIONSBaccalaureate Degree requiredBSN or Master's Degree in health related field preferredCurrent Georgia Registered Nursing (RN) license requiredCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) card requiredTwo (2) years' experience as Utilization Reviewer/Care Coordinator with knowledge of third party reimbursement requirements requiredCertified Case Manager (CCM) preferredKnowledge of Case Management practice as demonstrated by at least one (1) year CM/UM/QM experience preferredProficiency with database spreadsheet, and word processing programs.Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, activities, and responsibilities.Ability to demonstrate supervisory support to line management, toward promoting and establishing self-directed teams.Equal Opportunity Employer-Minorities/Females/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.
