With nearly forty years of experience in PPE and a dedicated team of professionals, you can count on us to be there for you.JOB SUMMARYThe Global Tax Director is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and overseeing tax strategies on an international scale to support and align with the company's global business strategy and roadmap. This role will ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations while leveraging partnerships with third-party agencies, such as Grant Thorton, RSM and KPMG, to execute these strategies effectively. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in tax management within large global manufacturing or consumer goods organizations and excels in driving tax planning, compliance, and optimization initiatives in a complex, fast-paced business environment.YOU AREInnovative and forward thinking - You will develop and implement innovative and sustainable international tax strategies aligned with the company's global business objectives. You understand how to navigate global tax regulations that will result in identifying opportunities to optimize PIP's company tax structure to ensure compliance while mitigating risk.A tax compliance expert - You will ensure full compliance with local, regional, and international tax regulations, including appropriate transfer pricing, accurate and timely tax filings and appropriate estimated tax filings. You will have full oversight of the preparation and filing of accurate and timely tax returns. Managing the preparation of annual global tax provision and financial statement disclosures, including income and deferred taxes will fall under your accountability. Monitoring changes in global tax legislation will be critical to evaluate the impact on the business.Fluent with how to mitigate risk - You will identify, assess and mitigate potential tax risks across all regions of operation. You will need to develop and maintain internal policies and controls to support effective tax management and risk mitigation.A natural collaborator with key stakeholders - You will partner with internal business leaders to integrate tax strategies into the broader global business strategy. Collaboration with external parties and/or agencies (e.g. Grant Thornton, RSM, KPMG) to executive strategies, audits and compliance review will be a key focus.A proven leader and team developer - You will build, lead and mentor the global tax team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will provide strategic direction and guidance to cross-functional teams regarding tax implications of business decisions. Talent development of this team will be essential for long-term growth.REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESSBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. Master's degree or CPA preferred.Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in international tax strategy development, preferably within large global manufacturing or consumer goods organizations.Expertise in global tax laws, policies, regulations, compliance, and optimization strategies.Demonstrated success in overseeing third-party agencies to execute tax strategies.Proven ability to align tax strategies with business goals in a matrixed, multinational environment.Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and driving change in dynamic conditions.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Protective Industrial Products (PIP) is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
