Come to our center and enjoy a work environment built on and dedicated to upholding our service standards.* Sincere Appreciation...for everyone* Hearing Needs...and responding quickly* Caring Approach...in everything we do* Managing Situations...for positive outcomes*Responsibilities of a Staff Development Coordinator:** Provide general and clinical orientation to new staff members.* Provide live annual training sessions monthly so you have time and opportunity to interact with the staff.* Track training attendance, competencies, and state and federal requirements for all staff in Relias.* Conduct hands on skills fairs.* Perform and track competency evaluations.* Lead our Mentor Program.* Evaluate and educate individual needs of the staff at the center.*Qualifications for a Staff Development Coordinator*:* Associate degree or above in Nursing (ASN) required.* Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the state of practice required.* Two (2+) years' nursing experience required.* Long-Term Care or SNF Nursing experience OR Clinical Education and Staff Development experience strongly preferred.* CDC - IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.*ABOUT US*Lake Worth Rehabilitation Center, located at Lake Worth, is a 102 skilled nursing center that offers in-patient residential care, short-term rehabilitation and specialty services. Our property features private and semi-private rooms, landscaped grounds, 7-day per week admissions, and rehabilitation gym with 7 day per week therapy, and we accept a wide variety of insurance plans.
