*This is an in-office position at our Niagara Falls Administrative office-remote work NOT available*.*Job Summary*We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes. This role requires a strong understanding of technical accounting principles and financial management.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:* Verifies and reconciles financial transactions including billing receipts and postings from general ledger to subsidiary billing ledger* Develops reports and reconciles data in powerbi/drillpoint database.* Prepares analysis of medical billing transactions* Prepares various financial statements monthly/annually* Reconciles and balances general ledger accounts* Compiles reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivables, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business* Prepares cash receipt vouchers, bank deposits, and reconciles bank statements as needed* Back up for Accounts Payable as needed* Assists in yearend audit* Assists Accounting manager with special projects as necessary.Join our team as a Financial Accountant where your expertise will contribute significantly to our organization's success while fostering a collaborative work environment.*Qualifications*:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum two years accounting experience. Experience working with financial statements and or bookkeeping preferred. Advanced level Excel skills required.
