The position requires an individual who is able to treat and be successfully at assessing and treating co-occurring disorders including mental illness, personality disorders, and challenges in primary or secondary support systems. The position of Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate includes active engagement and coordination of care with internal resources including psychiatry and community support as well as external bodies including the legal system, families, and social support agencies. The position requires the individual to be an active and positive member of the clinical team. Based on setting, special skills and/or work with specific populations will be required. Relies on knowledge, experience, and judgment to provide quality services with very little supervision and direction. Must be an individual that holds a license issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession. Some services may require additional experience, licensure, or education.Mores specific summary:• Providing Crisis therapy to individuals and families as needed for up to 8 weeks following a crisis event.• Supporting the family in the development of various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management• Working with a team of 6-7 Clinicians, QP's and Family Partners to provide quality interventions and support to children and their families• Participating in a first responder on-call system available to children, families and their natural support network between the hours of 8am-11pm; coordinating "first response" resourcesSchedule: Varies and is determined by clinician but will include evening work. Rotating On Call to cover emergent situations from 8a-11p 7 days per week.Pay Rate: $55,000-$58,000 annually$5000 sign on bonusEducation, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include:Must meet the requirements of a LCSW, LCMHC, LCSWA, LCMHCAPhysical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included:Regular required to lift 20 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Must be able to pull minimum of 25 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear#INDMCMAs a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with RHA, you will coordinate and monitor the array of services and supports identified in each service user's person-centered plan. These interventions are strength-based and focus on the promotion of recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning. You will report to the Clinical Director and may manage two or more employees.Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Social Worker with RHA, your responsibilities will vary based on the groups you work with and the programs through which you provide services. In all activities, you will coordinate closely with the interdisciplinary team to best help service users, including behavioral health specialists, registered nurses, quality assurance specialists, paraprofessionals and the Clinical Director.Additional responsibilities of the Clinical Social Worker include:Running individual, family and group outpatient therapy sessionsConducts comprehensive clinical assessment and makes service recommendations. Conducts consumer screening and orientation.Conducting inpatient group therapy sessionsOrienting new service users to RHADeveloping person-centered plans for service usersOversee the discharge planning processFacilitating relationships between RHA, service user families/legal guardians and various social service community resources, such as food stamp and housing assistance, healthcare, job training and placement and substance abuse support groupsOur ideal Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate is an excellent communicator and listener with strong therapeutic skills who works well as part of an interdisciplinary team and runs open and productive therapy sessions. You must also excel at behavioral interviewing techniques to uncover service user needs and be able to anticipate these needs.Additional requirements for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate include:Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate is defined as an individual who is: (a) an individual who holds a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession or (b) the individual must meet the requirements for continuing education to maintain licensure. Must meet the education, experience, licensure/certification requirements specified by the service definition of the service being provided.Pre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
