Assistant Director of Nursing

*Assistant Director of Nursing Maryland*Continuum Pediatric Nursing Services seeks an RN for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to provide case management throughout the Charles, Prince Georges, and Anne Arundel counties. The ADON manages all aspects of assigned Private Duty Nursing cases, including responsibility as direct reports for all nurses assigned to the cases. The ADON works closely with staffing personnel to cooperatively manage the administrative aspects of the cases, including scheduling, human resource matters, and payroll and billing concerns. The ADON also serves as a resource for the patients and their families and is a point of contact for referral sources, payer sources, physicians, and regulatory bodies related to the assigned cases. ADONs also conduct interviews, competency assessments, hiring, and orienting new field personnel.
