Glendale Place Nursing & Rehab Center is a family-owned and operated facility, centrally located off I-75 and Glendale Milford Rd., just south of I-275.Our Team Members are eligible for the following benefits:Daily Pay!PTOFree meal on each shiftReports to: Director of NursingJob Description: The Nursing Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department and ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and be a team player.Key Responsibilities:Supervise the nursing staff and ensure all residents receive the highest quality of careProvide guidance and support to the nursing team and ensure they have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectivelyCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care plans are developed and implementedConduct regular rounds to assess the quality of care being provided to residentsMonitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards of practiceAssist in the recruitment, selection, and retention of nursing staffDevelop and implement policies and procedures that promote safe and effective nursing careParticipate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiativesConduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staffParticipate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss and evaluate resident care plans and progressQualifications:Current LPN license in good standingMinimum of 10 years of clinical experience in a long-term care settingPrevious supervisory experience preferredExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing practiceStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsAbility to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary teamStrong organizational and time-management skillsCPR certification requiredPhysical Demands:· The Nursing Supervisor must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move intermittently throughout the workday. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with resident transfers as needed.Working Conditions:The Nursing Supervisor will work primarily in a clinical setting within a skilled nursing facility. The position requires working some weekends and holidays, as well as being on-call as needed.
