Counseling Services of New York (CSNY) is an OASAS (New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services) certified 822 non-intensive outpatient chemical dependence program in the South Bronx. CSNY provides a safe and warm environment that is ideally located by the Bronx County Courthouse and the Yankee Stadium subway stop (easy access by the 4, B, and D trains).CSNY is hiring a full-time, on-site Clinical Director to work from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (1 hour lunch), Monday through Friday, and who will be responsible for the following:Overall regulatory compliance with 822 regulations in all client-related timely documentation, with focus on quality (detail, accuracy, thoroughness, creativity in treatment strategies) and compliance with requirements for associated time frames, and required signatures for all required documentation.Oversee all clinical operations (including waiting area) and Group Counseling Schedule throughout the seven-day week. Monitor on weekends occasionally, as needed.Using assigned committees to yield successful outcomes with regard to Utilization Review and Case Conferences, including but not limited to ensuring that admitted clients remain appropriate for treatment.Ongoing enhancement of group counseling curriculum, to include increased diversity of subject matter, ongoing improvement in creativity and relevance of subject matter resulting in increased overall client participation in group counseling.Increased overall success in achievement of treatment outcomes of clients served at clinic.Increased percentage of clients who maintain gainful and stable employment as a result of treatment interventions and support from clinical staff.Increased amount of overall outreach by Counselors to promote increased client attendance and enhanced overall communication with key referral sources.High satisfaction with key referral sources based on achieve of treatment outcomes with referred clients, as well as enhanced written and verbal communication.Increased number of linkages with outside organizations to enhance overall quality of services for all clients in treatment.Overall accountability for Counselors outcomes, as identified in Counselor Job description.The Clinical Director will report to the Program Director, Operations Manager, and Financial Manager.Qualifications must include:CASAC-2, CASAC- Advanced, CASAC Master, orLicensed Mental Health Counselor, orLicensed Master Social WorkerAt least 5 years experience working as a counselor in the chemical dependency field.At least 2 years of supervision of counseling staff in the chemical dependency field.Foundations of Clinical Supervision: training preferred.Other management experience highly valued.Counseling Services of New York LLC is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
