Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

*Schedule:**Schedule Details:*Days 3X12*Responsibilities:** Delivery room management of neonate, perform neonatal exam, assist with well baby exams and admissions when able to.* Must be comfortable providing NRP to infants in delivery room. The role is to attend neonatal deliveries which include - cesarean sections, maternal medication exposure that may cause neonatal respiratory depression, meconium, late preterm infants (35- 36 6/7), chorioamnionitis with a reassuring tracing, shoulder precautions and twin gestation.* Assess newborns on L & D requiring immediate intervention ( e.g. respiratory distress, cyanosis, hypoglycemia, and hypothermia).* Provide prenatal consults for select, uncomplicated late preterm (35-36 1/7) pregnancies* If time allows examine and admit newborns to the WBN*Miscellaneous:* Will consider PT candidates to fulfill fulltime need.*Practice Details:** Patients per Day/Volume: attend 10+ deliveries per day including scheduling c-sections, cat 2 tracing,* Admissions: Role does not include admissions.* If time permits it would only be pertinent to their patient.* Procedures Required: No proceduresEMR: EPIC*Requirements:** Education Requirements): Must be Board Certified* Type (FP, IM, EM - Residency): FNP, PNP or NNP as long as they have 2 years of recent exp with neonatal care in delivery room* Life Support: BLS and NRP Required.* Active State License Required?
