Being efficient, dedicated, a good listener and a problem-solver is what will open our door for you.The goal is to foster an excellent environment that will support everyone in working to the benefit of our skilled rehab and patients alike.Responsibilities:Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPN etc.)Guide staffing proceduresSet objectives and long-term goals for the nursing departmentOrganize and coordinate admission, nursing and patient care proceduresDevelop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standardsControl budgets and monitor expendituresResolve issues and deficiencies when neededManage record-keeping proceduresCollaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operationsReport to upper managementSkills:Proven experience as director of nursingIn-depth knowledge of nursing home proceduresUnderstanding of basic budgeting and financial reportingGreat knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcareWillingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administrationExcellent ability to lead and develop personnelGreat communication and people skillsOutstanding organizational and stress management skillsAptitude in problem-solvingDegree in nursingValid nursing and CPR certificationJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $120,000 - $128,000 per yearWork Location: In person
