If you have a passion for helping animals, and a love for serving others - we want you to help us deliver on that promise by joining our Compounding Team.As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for blending the highest-quality ingredients to create the first-class medications that our furry friends deserve.Our new hires in this position are eligible for a $1000 New Hire Performance Bonus!When will you work We offer multiple shifts:Sunday - Wednesday, 8:00 am-6:30pmThursday - Saturday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 am - 8:30 pm, Saturday 6:00am - 6:30pmMonday - Friday: 5:00 am - 1:30 pmMonday - Friday: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pmWhat you'll do:Carefully prepare medications of the highest quality to meet the needs of individual patientsCompound non-sterile medications including, but not limited to capsules, oral liquids, topical medications, nasal preparations, tablets, or treatsLabel prescriptions and prepackage bulk medicationsMonitor inventory levels for re-order of depleting inventory or expiring chemicals, and receive additional inventoryPerform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning using appropriate disinfectants and techniquesPerform environmental monitoring and validation testing according to policies and proceduresUtilize strong attention to detail, math skills, and extreme focusMeet or exceed metrics for creating prescriptionsHelp ensure pet owners and vets get their medicine in a timely fashionWhat you've done:Obtained a High School Diploma or GEDEstablished strong basic math skillsObtained a Certified Pharmacy Technician license through the AZ State Board of PharmacyWorked in a fast-paced environment and followed specific instructions or proceduresWho you are:An individual with a disciplined mindset and great attention to detail, accuracy and precisionAlways show up (on time) with a positive, professional attitude.
