We offer these competitive benefits:· Competitive wage· Affordable: Medical, Dental, Vision· Free Life Insurance· Paid Vacation/Sick Time· Personal Days· Employee Referral Bonus· Tuition Reimbursement· 401K· Meaningful and rewarding work environment· Plus much more, Inquire with us todayDescription:The primary purpose of the ADON/Infection Preventionist is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department.Responsibilities ADON/Infection Preventionist:Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of nursing department.Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing.Assist the resident and Discharge Planning Coordinator in planning the nursing portion of the resident's discharge plan.Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to Administrator.Service on the Quality Assurance and Assessment Committee as directed.Schedule, attend, and participate in developing the agenda for the Care Plan Team Meetings as required.Encourage the resident and his/her family to participate in the development and review of the resident's plan of care.Be sure that staff members are providing care that reflects the wishes of the resident.Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.Ensure all nursing personnel are knowledgeable of the residents' responsibilities and rights include the right to refuse treatment.Develop, maintain, and implement infection prevention policies and procedures in accordance with applicable federal, state, regulatory and company standards.Track and trend infections.Educate staff on infection prevention measures.Make quality improvement recommendations to the Clinical Nursing Team.Assess individual resident and overall community risk of infection.Conduct surveillance of infections and make recommendations regarding the prevention and control of infection.Communicate with residents, families, medical and nursing staff, interdisciplinary team members, and department heads to coordinate care and services as it relates to preventing and controlling infection while engaging in strategies to maintain optimal health.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications for ADON/Infection Preventionist:Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.Must have, as a minimum, 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.Must have, as a minimum of 6 months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.Apply online by clicking Apply Now or apply in person at:Facility Location:The Pearl of Hinsdale600 Ogden Ave.Hinsdale, IL 60521Apply today for immediate consideration!!At Pearl Healthcare, our unique approach to post-acute rehabilitation places the patient at the center, curating a plan of care that understands the specific needs of each individual.
