Position Title: Clinical Supervisor (LMFT / LCSW)Department: Grant WritingSupervisor: Department Supervisor / Department DirectorPosition SummaryFull time Clinical Supervisor needed for an innovative outpatient program that is contracted through the Department of Mental Health (DMH) located in the cities of Service Area 2 ( San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita, Glendale and surrounding cities) working with the surrounding communities, all age ranges and providing integrated, whole person care to individuals.The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring clinical and administrative services are provided for patients in DMH & Integrated Outpatient Mental Health program. Provide overall supervision to all counselors, counselor assistants and interns. The Clinical Supervisor facilitates Clinical Meetings and participates in interdisciplinary team.Salary Range$46 - $68.50 per hour DOEWe offer a competitive benefits package:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Care PlanLife InsurancePaid Holidays (12)Paid Vacation TimeSick Time401(k) Retirement PlanCompetitive wagesStability and career advancementContinuing Education OpportunitiesCATEGORIES OF DUTIESClinical Responsibilities shall include:Conducting assessments of patients at the time of admission and re-assessments as requiredMental status examinationsProviding appropriate diagnoses and treatment recommendations based on a review of the patient's history, signs and symptomsProper documentation in the medical record of services renderedIndividual, couple/family, and group psychotherapy, as neededCrisis intervention services, including 5150 determinationsTreatment planningParticipation in medical record reviewsUtilization review activities, as requiredKnowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements (i.e., suspected abuse; Tarasoff), professional boundaries and related issues.Other duties as assigned by Director/AdministrationSupervision/Training shall include:Providing supervision to counseling staff as deemed appropriate, including interns.Conducting performance evaluations of interns or staff, as required.In-service training to staff and/or trainees on mental health topics, as required.Administrative duties shall include:Attending clinical and administrative committee meetings, as requested.Maintaining proper documentation, as necessary, of clinical supervisionParticipating in community events, presentations, meetings, and outreach on behalf of TTCAdditional functions as specifically requested by the Clinical Director, Program Director and/or Administration.EDUCATIONA Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology or social science.Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science as an LCSW or MFT.EXPERIENCEMinimum of one (1) year experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from substance abuse and/or dual diagnosis.
