Criminal Justice Dual Diagnosis Therapist

The position includes working individually with self-referred and court ordered adult clients. In addition, there will be some therapeutic group facilitation. Close collaboration with the court system personnel, including adult probation and attorneys, Job and Family Services and other treatment providers. The ideal candidate works well as part of a treatment team, has experience working with addiction and providing timely written documentation.Key Responsibilities:Provides individual treatment for clients with mental health and substance use historyCounsel clients individually and/or in group sessions to assist with meeting treatment goalsFormulate treatment plans based on a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment of the clientRegularly review and update treatment plans based on the client's clinical needsRefer clients to other support services including detoxification, intensive programming, psychiatric, social services programs, and employment services as neededComplete adequate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standardsAttends and participates in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings, monthly all staff meetings and other meetings as requestedBuilds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external providersWork closely as an interdisciplinary team that encompasses assessment, service planning and interventionAttends weekly treatment team meetings to review progress on cases and ongoing treatment needsEducational and Experience Requirements:Master's level counselor or social work, marriage & family therapistLPC, LSW, MFT, LPCC, LISW, LPCC-S, LISW-S (Ohio License)Experience working with clients who have substance use backgroundsDrivers license requiredBenefits Include:Competitive Salary: We offer a salary package that reflects your skills, experience, and contributions.Generous Time Off: Enjoy 3 weeks of vacation, along with 56 hours sick time, 8 paid holidays, and 4 wellness days per year.
