DescriptionPeaceHealth is seeking a 1.0 FTE Nurse Practitioner for our Hospice House team at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, Washington.Ideal CandidateBoard Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 3-5 years post-certification experience that includes Hospice & Palliative CareInterest in supporting a Nurse Case Manager, answering clinical questions, updating symptom management and care plans, as well as providing coverage at our lovely 12-bed inpatient Hospice House and acting as the primary provider, providing direct patient careWillingness to take telephone callThe PracticeOur Palliative Care and Hospice team offers care, support, guidance, and reflection in medical, emotional, and spiritual areas, with a focus on preventing and alleviating suffering and improving a patient's quality of lifeHours of Operation are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm; may include additional callPrimary workspace in the Administrative Building on the same campus as Hospice House; shared office with dedicated workstation provides easy access to colleaguesBeautiful 12-bed facility for inpatient care as well as dedicated Hospice at St. Joseph Medical CenterEpic EMRThis position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. There may be more than one opening on this posting.Position is paid at an hourly rate of $63.04/hour - $79.88/hour, depending on direct NP/PA experience.
