Salary: $18-$24 per hour, depending on credentials and experienceCounseling Services of New York (CSNY) is an OASAS (New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services) licensed 822 non-intensive outpatient chemical dependency counseling clinic. Our approach to treatment combines targeted counseling that is truly flexible to meet the ever-changing needs of individuals, with emphasis on rebuilding healthy relationships to promote success in many life areas.CSNY is hiring a full-time on-site Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) to work the following unique schedule:11:00AM to 7PM, Monday through Friday. (Hourly position, and includes overtime compensation for any hours over 40 per week)What makes us a great place to work?Easy access on the B, D, or 4...subway access just a few doors down on our same block!Safe area just off 161st Yankee StadiumWork culture centered that is person-centered.Reasonable caseload, approximately 20 clients, to promote quality relationships and successful client outcomes.Ongoing on-the-job training to maintain current understanding of OASAS regulations for "822" outpatient clinics.Full implementation of electronic documentation to simplify and streamline processes.Develop and maintain key relationships with outside service providers.Become proficient in evidence-based practices to improve treatment outcomes and overall success.Be part of a true team of clinicians who work together to share time and ideas in a truly collaborative environment.Qualifications must include at least one of the following:Current and Valid CASAC-T, CASAC, CASAC-2, or CASAC A credentials ssued by the Office, or a comparable credential, certificate or license from another recognized certifying body as determined by the Office).
