Overview:The Real Estate/Mortgage Loan Servicing Representative II position supports the servicing of mortgage loans throughout various duties and the support of products which include conventional, high balance, jumbo, FNMA, VA, second mortgages and Home Equity Lines of Credit. This team member is expected to deliver a high level of quality service to our membership. This team member will need to be familiar with routine and complex servicing transactions, familiarity with reviewing loan history, responding to member inquiries as well as 3rd party inquiries, researching and/or preparing documentation, or analyzing requests in accordance with established guidelines and determining appropriate course of action.If you enjoy helping people and have experience with mortgage lending operations and regulations, this job may be is for you!About Frontwave Credit Union:Frontwave Credit Union is a member-owned not-for-profit financial institution serving San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Credit Union policies and procedures.Process Subordination requests for first mortgages, equity loans and solar loans.Perform HELOC reviews for suspended/expired credit limits and other member notifications.Work with third party servicer to ensure monthly first mortgage ARM loan rate changes are accurate.Perform system file maintenance and payment adjustmentsWork closely with third party sub-servicing vendor to resolve member issues.Assist in Quarterly HMDA data review.Prepare payoff demand requests and process final payoff transactions. Process reconveyances and cancel tax service on Home Equity and Home Equity Line of Credit Loans paid in full.Monitor flood and hazard insurance for equity loans.Process insurance loss claims for equity loans.Process member payments including checks, account transfers and ACH exceptions.Process PMI waiver requests.Set-up and process monthly automatic mortgage payments.Respond to mortgage inquiries from internal/external members via, internet, phone or in-person.Maintain high quality service and production standards as set by the organization.Keep abreast of policies and procedures and real estate loan servicing compliance.Review daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and take appropriate action as outlined in procedures.G/L and end of day department balancing.Participate in compliance training as required.Adhere to credit union policy and procedures.Preforms other duties as assigned.Qualifications:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Associate's degree preferred or three years related financial institution or credit union experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in mortgage lending operations and regulations.Salary Range: $20.88-$31.32Service Excellence Standards: When joining Frontwave Credit Union, you can expect to be a part of a workforce committed to the following Service Excellence standards: • We see it.
