Are you on the path towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and need supervision? Do you have experience working in the Developmental Disability field and you're interested in exploring the field of ABA? We're providing an opportunity for eager individuals who are interested in making an impact in the lives of adults diagnosed with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.A Behavior Analyst is responsible for the development, training, and proper implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and strategies. Services will be conducted 1:1, and may be provided in-home or in community settings. The following job description outlines essential job functions, but may not provide a comprehensive list of duties that may be assigned:Conduct initial assessments, develop BSPs and/or strategies, train the appropriate team members on how to implement the BSP and/or strategies, and monitor the implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and strategies as carried out by families and staff.Review and analyze data provided by families and staff.Complete quarterly reports.Attend quarterly Treatment Team Meetings, and present information from quarterly reports to the client's team.Demonstrate an understanding of behavior analysis strategies in all interactions with clients/families.Demonstrate empathy and compassion in conduct towards clients.Schedule for case:All Behavioral Support positions are Fee For Service. Essentially, you will work and be paid for the services you provide. You will be assigned to a client/clients and provide behavioral support but not be held to a schedule.Total Hours= TBDRequirementsIdeal candidates have at least 1 to 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in an applicable, educational group setting, based on DDD and DOE programsBachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Public Health or related field preferred.Registered Behavioral Technician preferredExperience with physically aggressive and/or self-injurious clients preferredMust have good organizational and time management skillsMust be comfortable with technology and learning new programs/systemsAbility to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.Must be 21 years of age or olderMust be legally permitted to work in the United StatesComplete State/Federal Criminal Background checks and Central Registry checksPossess and maintain a valid New Jersey driver's license (or Resident State)SummaryPosition Type: Fee for Service.Preferred Availability: Between the hours of 10a-7p during the week, and weekends (if needed).The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
