Financial Controller

Check out our other great benefits at ::Controller Essential Functions::- Management of staff including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Asset, and Cash processes- Assist in the month end closing process from an AP, AR, Payroll and GL perspective- Review and approval of all journal entries made by staff- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules- Maintain and track all leases for ASC842 review and audit preparation- Review and approve (for accounting) all corporate SG&A invoices- Operational management of the Concur expense reporting system (staff processes)- Preparation of annual SG&A budgets- Lead McClure efforts in responding to labor and insurance audits- Assist CFO and DOF in meeting all internal and external audit requests and requirements- Review, develop and implement improvements to streamline the AP, AR, and Payroll processes- Review and approve (for accounting) all commissions- Other duties as assignedFinancial Controller experience, technical skills & attributes required::- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other relevant discipline, or equivalent work experience.- 5+ years experience in a construction accounting role- Previous experience in team leadership and management- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Detail-oriented- Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.Position is full-time Monday - Friday and is not a remote work position.McClure Company is an Equal opportunity employer.
