They are a progressive and innovative Public Accounting firm, offering Assurance, Tax, and outsourced CFO services as well as Advisory and Analysis to support strategic business decisions from start-up to valuation and sale and everything in between.This is an incredible time to join as they continue to grow their reputation and practice supporting clients in a diverse range of industries with a concentration on the built environment: construction, architecture, engineering, and beyond.Who you are:A CPA with proven success in Public Accounting Tax servicesSomeone who wants more work/life balance and to join an organization and team that doesn't just support that, but actively lives this as part of their culture, values, and policyA high-level communicator, who is driven to see their clients and teammates succeed through knowledge sharingA continuous learner who is growth-minded, interested in advancing their accounting career, and actively stays current on Public Accounting policies, GAAP, Tax compliance, best practices, and innovative technologiesSkills, Experience, and Success Factors:CPA accreditation or active pursuit of CPA accreditationMinimum of 5-7 years experience in public tax accounting that includes preparation of individual and business income taxBS in Accounting preferredStrong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skillsExperience with bookkeeping and accounting software that includes QuickBooks; Creative Solutions, and UltraTax experience is a plusExperience in Construction Accounting and Tax a plus, but not requiredWhat you will get:At Sprowls and Company, they know their success is driven by the success of everyone on their team.
