Accounts Payable SpecialistOur Portland-local client seeks a reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to handle receptionist duties and AP functions for their team! The ideal candidate is team-oriented and enjoys wearing many hats.Accounts Payable Specialist ResponsibilitiesReview and process subcontractor invoices, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.Research and correct discrepancies, ensuring insurance and payroll compliance before processing payments.Handle monthly check runs to complete payment of invoices.Greet visitors, answer phones, and handle basic admin tasks (filing, copying, scanning, mail sorting, etc.).Accounts Payable Specialist QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.At least 2 years of AP experience; exposure to construction or related industry preferred.Basic accounting knowledge; prior experience with certified payroll payment a plus.Intermediate Excel skills, strong data entry skills, and ERP systems experience (Viewpoint or similar a plus).Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Salary: $26-$29/hr.
