The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates a high level of clinical expertise overseeing the operations of all clinical service departments. The VP of Clinical Services will execute population health initiatives, improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of care, while ensuring clinical compliance with appropriate policies and procedures. They will implement and execute clinical programs in accordance with Arkos Health and affiliates member outreach goals. The VP of Clinical Services provides solution-based ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative care models, leverage technology, and optimize resource utilization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Direct, supervise, mentor, and evaluate work activities of the entire Clinical Services department to achieve optimal efficiency, morale, and employee/provider/patient satisfactionWork with the executive team to drive the integration of technology and data analytics to optimize care delivery, improve population health outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency Operate in a fiscal and responsible manner to identify financial and other resources needed to achieve organizational goals/targetsResponsible for the design, development, and oversight of the HWP including the Patient Outreach CenterIn collaboration with the VP of Quality & Performance, monitor HWP performance including metrics development/collection and tracking to successfully meet/exceed organizational goalsFacilitate resolution of applicable administrative challenges, problem-solve utilization-related concerns, promote open lines of communication with providers, their office staff, and other internal/external customers.Conduct and participate in frequent utilization-related meetings and actively work with staff to educate and increase awareness/understanding of managed care principles.Interact proactively with Medical Director(s) and other applicable providers to problem solve and resolve utilization-related issues or concerns.Serve as a liaison between external Clinical Service divisions and contracted providers.Prepare all reports and submit all reports timely to inform management of the status and implementation plans of programs, services, and quality initiatives.Provide recommendations to applicable providers to improve patient care, decrease the frequency of emergency department visits, hospital readmission, home health modalities, etc., while maintaining high quality continuity of care.Maintain awareness of advances in health care, government regulations, health insurance changes, and financing options.Manage changes in integrated health care delivery systems, such as work restructuring, technological innovations, and shifts in the focus of care.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field requiredMinimum of 10 years healthcare Leadership experience preferredCurrent and valid State of Vermont RN license requiredCurrent BLS/CPR certification,TB test and maintain a negative test annually requiredHep B vax/titer proof (Company does offer/or may sign a declination) requiredCurrent flu shot (or sign waiver/follow mask policy) requiredBenefits:Employer-paid Medical Insurance premiums at no cost to youEmployer Paid Dental Insurance premiums at no cost to youEmployer-paid Vision Insurance premiums at no cost to youEmployer-paid Short-term disability premiums at no cost to youEmployer-paid life insurance premiums at no cost to youEmployer matching 401(k)15 days annual combined sick/vacation in your first year and 8 paid holidaysYour Birthday off!Must complete our Culture Index Survey.
