Medication Technician

We are currently seeking a *Part Time Medication Technician *to join our enthusiastic team at The Hearth at Drexel!The Hearth at Drexel is a premier retirement community in Bala Cynwyd, PA. We take pride in our dedicated team members who support and care for our residents.*Shift/Schedule Available*:* 3:00pm - 11:00pm - Part Time - 30 - 45 hours*Some job responsibilities include:** Responsible for AL Resident self-administration of medications and treatments per shift in accordance with policies and procedures of The Hearth at Drexel and DPW.* Assess residents' needs daily. Initiate interventions as needed and direct to supervisor using Interact Form.* Assist with monitoring dining room at meal times in Assisted Living Department.* Responsible for knowledge and compliance with all DPW regulations on medications.* Assist with activities of daily living required by AL residents.* Report refusal of medications and/or services to supervisors and properly document to ensure medications/treatments are done.* Report and communicate daily with the nursing supervisor regarding Assisted Living issues.* Document daily report sheets to ensure medications are double-checked and documented before self-administration at same time and charting as events occur.* Report incidents on day of incident and fill out forms and reports to supervisor immediately.
