Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Substance Abuse)

*Responsibilities:** Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting progress and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.* Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and resources available for support.* Stay current with best practices in mental health counseling and participate in ongoing professional development.* Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards of practice set forth by relevant regulatory bodies.*Qualifications:** Master's degree in Counseling.* Active and unrestricted LMHC license in New York.* Proven experience in mental health counseling, with a strong understanding of therapeutic modalities.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.* Knowlegde of substance abuse and opioid treatment._Please note- The annual base salary range is $55k to $70k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
