We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Outpatient Nurse Manager to lead our client's nursing team in a community health setting. This role is focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered care to underserved populations, managing outpatient clinical services, and ensuring the efficient operation of the nursing department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of community health, and a commitment to improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations.*Responsibilities:** Oversee the daily operations of the outpatient nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in a community health setting.* Manage, mentor, and provide leadership to a team of nurses, medical assistants, and support staff.* Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and other team members to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.* Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices within the clinic.* Monitor patient flow, staffing levels, and resources to optimize clinic efficiency.* Provide direct patient care when necessary, including assessment, triage, and follow-up care.* Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives aimed at improving public health and access to care.* Manage departmental budgets, inventory, and supplies.* Facilitate ongoing staff education and professional development opportunities.*Requirements:** Active and unrestricted RN license in NY.* Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with at leats 2 years of management experience.* At least 2 years of experience working in med-surg and/or triage.* Experience working with the HIV/AIDS and LGBTQIA+ community is a plus.* Strong knowledge of community health issues, preventive care, and patient education.* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and populations.* Passion for serving underserved or vulnerable communities._Please note- The annual base salary range is $90k to $115k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
