Registered Nurse

*Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-time, 40 Hours/Week, Evening Shift**Shift*: Evening, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with some holiday requirements.*Sign-on Bonus*: $6,000 paid in installments.*Rate of Pay*: $38.50 to $44.00 per hour, based on licensure date and experience.*About the Role*:As an RN in our skilled nursing facility, you'll work as part of a dedicated team to provide hands-on and clinical care for elderly residents. Responsibilities include carrying out and verifying medication orders, monitoring residents' conditions, and reporting changes to MD as needed. You'll also assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring to support their quality of life. This role requires a compassionate individual capable of standing and walking throughout the shift, and able to push, pull, lift, and transfer residents as necessary.*Key Responsibilities*:* Deliver high-quality, hands-on nursing care for residents in our skilled nursing facility, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.* Manage and administer medication orders, carefully documenting and verifying each administration.* Observe and assess resident conditions, promptly reporting any changes to the physician as appropriate.* Support daily living activities, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, to help residents maintain their independence and quality of life.* Serve as a team leader, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment while guiding and supporting staff.* Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic medical records.* Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of resident care are met efficiently.*Qualifications*:* Active New York State RN license required.* Current CPR certification required.* Preferred: Previous leadership experience in a clinical setting.* Preferred: Experience in a long-term care environment.Join a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents.
