SUMMARYBranch or Area Branch Managers are trusted advisors within the communities we operate. Leading a team of retail associates in the branch and drive growth in core deposits and loans is the primary focus. As a leader within the community this position is responsible to be a primary channel of commerce and assist our clients to make the right financial choices.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIncrease market share by building long-term relationships with local businessCoach, mentor and motivate a team of dedicated banking professionalsOversee the day to day management of operations and identify opportunities to optimize processes and enhance service levelsLead the branch to achieve established sales goals by generating referral business, new accounts and management of current clients' accountsManagement of and total accountability for a branch office in meeting administrative, compliance, operational, sales, service, and profitability objectives of the bankMake regular business development calls to solicit new business (loans, deposits) and/or improve services to clientsOversee and/or train/guide staff to provide clients with appropriate Bank products and servicesEnsure that staff members provide continuous quality service to clientsRepresent the bank in the community through involvement in various civic and charitable activitiesSet annual personal performance plan/goals and weekly sales plan/goals for the branch staffBuild/enhance business relationship with clientsArrange for appropriate training and cross training of staffs when neededAddress and resolve human resource issuesOversee/monitor performance of operations staff to ensure all policies/procedures are compliant with bank guidelinesEnsure a satisfactory branch audit is metMaintain safety and security for our clients and team membersADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESDemonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and managementDemonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearanceAdheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety RegulationsAdheres to local, state and federal lawsUnderstands and complies with all company rules and regulationsAttends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial institutions, as they apply to your position and job responsibilities, with an emphasis on the BSA/AML/CIP, Consumer Privacy, Regulation CC, Information Security, Bank Protection Act, FACT-Identity Theft, Information Technology and GLBA.Additional duties as assigned as it relates to the positionSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does have supervisory responsibilitiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree (preferably in Business Administration) or equivalent experience.Minimum of (5) years' work experience, which must be directly related to branch processes and functionsExcellent level of problem solving capabilities to establish potential alternatives and solutions to problemsExcellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
