Our facility is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and contribute to the overall well-being and recovery of our residents.*Position Overview*:The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments and therapies to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting. This role involves working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' communication skills, swallowing function, and overall quality of life.*Responsibilities*:* Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in residents.* Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and care plans.* Provide speech and language therapy to residents with communication and swallowing difficulties, including those with neurological conditions, stroke recovery, dementia, and other related conditions.* Document patient progress, therapy sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities and ensure the safe execution of therapy at home.* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.* Monitor and adjust therapy programs based on patient progress and provide ongoing assessment of patient needs.* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to documentation, patient care, and privacy standards.*Qualifications*:* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.* Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.* Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or similar healthcare setting preferred.* Strong knowledge of assessment tools and treatment techniques for speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.* Ability to document clearly and accurately, meeting all regulatory and facility standards.* Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to care.*Benefits*:* Competitive salary based on experience* Health, dental, and vision insurance* Retirement plan options* Supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance*How to Apply*:If you are passionate about improving the lives of residents in a skilled nursing facility and meet the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply.
