Salary: $70,000 - $90,000/year Overview:Elderwood Assisted Living at Cheekotwaga is seeking a full-time RN Director of Assisted Living Program.The ALP RN will work a varied schedule, mostly evenings from 2 PM - 10 PM with some flexibility required.This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus!The ALP Registered Nurse will be responsible for the clinical oversight and coordination of the Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA)/Assisted Living Program (ALP), in conjunction with administrative staff and other service agencies.Employee Perks!401K Retirement Plan with Company MatchFree On-Site Parking & a beautiful campusGenerous PTO & holiday packageLife Insurance, affordable Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceWeekly Pay Schedule!Substantial employee referral programTuition reimbursement program - let us help you earn your MSN!Responsibilities:RN - Assisted Living Program (ALP) Director - Position Overview:Responsible for the coordination of ALP program requirements for eligible residents.Responsible for responding immediately to residents' requests.Assist in the supervision of nursing care services and staff on all med rooms/units/floors while on duty.Actively promotes controlled substance and facility safety programs.Report to attending physician any unusual symptoms, changes in condition, daily needs and progress of residents.Actively participates in the complaint/grievance resolution process by completing requested investigative process and documenting findings in a thorough, timely and concise manner.Notify Director of Nursing/Administrator of any significant events/urgent matters related to residents, visitors, staff or any other disruption to facility services.Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Director of Nursing.May be required to take calls on off hours and adjust schedule to meet the needs of the facility.Qualifications:RN - Assisted Living Program (ALP) Director - Position Overview:Graduate of an accredited School of NursingValid and current New York State Registered Nurse License and RegistrationMinimum of three years nursing experience with one year of home care experience in a LHCSA, CHHA or LTHHCP preferred.This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
