Med/Surg RN

A state-of-the-art acute care facility located in Crawford County, PA is seeking an overnight Registered Nurse with a strong background on the med-surg floor for a 6-month extendable contract. This practice is the premier hospital in it's region and offers comprehensive, high quality medical care in a wide array of services - emergency care, surgical, women's health, oncology, orthopedic, cardiology, etc.. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology to ensure that the best medical professionals are supported by modern day tools to treat their patients to the utmost care.The base pay range for this position is $55 to $58 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. This is a true temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you transition!*Responsibilities:** Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and medical needs.* Administer prescribed medications, IVs, and treatments.* Create, update, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.* Educate patients and families on self-care, medications, and lifestyle changes to support recovery and long-term health.* Work closely with doctors, physical therapists, social workers, and other team members to coordinate patient care.* Assist patients in preparing for discharge, ensuring they understand discharge instructions and have the necessary resources.* Provide information on follow-up care, home care instructions, and community resources to facilitate a smooth transition.* Monitor patients for changes in condition, responding promptly and appropriately to any issues or complications.* Manage complex care needs such as post-operative recovery, wound care, and chronic condition management.*Requirements:** RN-BSN* 2+ years of med-surg experience* PA License and Registration* BLS, ACLS#INDEEDTHJob Types: Full-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hourMedical Specialty:* Medical-Surgical* TelemetryApplication Question(s):* What phone number and email should we use to contact you?Work Location: In person
