Together, we can help our residents live their best lives!Requirements:Registered Nurse (RN) licenseJob Responsibilities:The RN Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing Services (the "Director") in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Facility.The RN Assistant Director of Nursing participates in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department.The RN Assistant Director of Nursing ensures that reference material (i.e., PDR'S, regulations, professional standards of practice, etc.) maintained at the nurses' stations are current. Recommend to the Director written material that will assist the nursing service department in meeting the day-to-day needs of residents.Serve on the Quality Assurance and Assessment Committee, as directed.Assist the Director in preparing written and/or oral reports of the nursing service programs and activities to submit to such committee(s).Schedule, attend, and participate in developing the agenda for the Care Plan Committee meetings, as necessary.Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation program that orients the new employee to the department, its policies, and procedures, and to his/her job position and duties.#PH2024
