This position reports to the Vice President of Medical Services.Duties and Responsibilities:Work with Medical Services leadership to identify opportunities for growth and development, implement initiatives, policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.Provide supervision as the laboratory clinical consultant, supporting the operation of a high complexity laboratoryCollaborate/Supervise up to five psych, family or adult nurse practitioners (NPs) and five physician assistants (PAs) at any one time.Provide availability via telecommunication for consultations on problems, complications, emergencies, and referralsEnsure all medical RWM services comply with federal and state law, as well as accreditation standards.Develop and maintain treatment protocols for detoxification/withdrawal managementParticipate in periodic staff meetings, either remotely or in person, and facilitate professional development and education for the medical services teamConduct quality assurance documentation and delivery of care reviews according to Lighthouse policyRemain up to date on psychiatric and SUD evidence-based practice, and effectively communicate this information internally and with community stakeholdersSupport revenue cycle management (RCM) operations to ensure the appropriate and timely billing of medical servicesPerform other duties, as assignedRequired Qualifications:Licensed as an MD or DO in the state of OhioBoard certification in Psychiatry or Family Medicine2 years of psychiatric experience (if Family Medicine board certified)2 years of experience in substance use treatmentActive and unrestricted DEACompletion of a minimum of 24 hours of buprenorphine training via ASAM if not Addiction board certifiedValid state of Ohio driver's license and insuranceMust pass BCI check, all corporate compliance checks, and employment drug screenDesired Qualifications:Board certification in addictionLBHS offers benefits such as competitive compensation based on industry standards, health insurance benefits which include medical/dental/vision/life/disability, paid time off, paid holidays, 401k plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), education reimbursement program, and paid parental leave.Lighthouse is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability status, genetics, gender identity and/or expression, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.LBHS adheres to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act as amended, Ohio Civil Rights Act, and all applicable rules and regulations.
