For more information, visit Data Quality Lead Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, assessing, and monitoring data quality issues within our core enterprise. The role will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units to identify our most critical data and define the quality measures and thresholds to apply to that data to ensure quality and usability.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Identify, analyze, and address potential quality issues related to data collection, storage, processing, and usage.Collaborate with data domain experts to identify and document critical enterprise data that requires the highest level of data quality management and identify the data quality standards surrounding that data.Establish data quality framework to measure and monitor our critical data and the success of our data quality initiatives.Maintain clear and concise documentation on our data quality standards, definitions, KPIs and processes.Support reporting efforts to report on data quality initiatives through the creation of data sets that allow for proper interpretation of our data quality.Educational and Skills Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or applicable experience)5+ years in a similar analytics role requiring advanced skills in SQL and data management4+ years of experience working as a data quality or data analyst.Practical, current, hands-on knowledge of data management and analytics solutions, including Snowflake, SQL, and Tableau.Advanced skill and experience with SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysisProficiency in implementing data quality best practices.Experience with the principles of data analysis and data qualityExperience with data warehouses (Snowflake) and data warehouse architecturesExperience with managing data quality projects and initiativesUnderstanding of data management concepts, including master and metadata managementUnderstanding of common data governance frameworks and practicesUnderstanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts and practicesHigh level of attention to detailStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsInnovation - Forward thinking, curious, & creativeAdvanced Analytical Skills - Ability to collect and analyze complex information, problem solve, and make decisionsCollaboration - Strong skills in inspiring the win-win-winSelf-Starter - Ability to work independentlyTravel Requirements:Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year).Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.Type/Nature of Contacts:External: There is almost no contact outside of Virtuoso staff.
