As a Hospice LPN, you will educate patients and their caregivers on their conditions and the steps needed to ensure proper recovery.Additional responsibilities of our Hospice LPN include:Coverage of both Newark and Caldwell Hospice patientsMaking routine nursing visitsContinually evaluating the patient's needsOn-Call rotation requiredRequirements:As a Hospice LPN, you must be caring, patient and flexible teacher with excellent communication and time management abilities. You must possess independent problem solving abilities, excellent clinical assessment skills and be computer literate. You must also be in good physical shape and have the ability to lift/transfer patients to and from wheelchairs, if necessary.Additional requirements of our Hospice LPN include:Weekend availability a plusValid Ohio LPN LicenseMinimum 2 years of nursing experienceValid driver's license and one year clean driving recordExcellent writing, communication and charting skills
