Are you a Microsoft Excel enthusiast?Do you love working with numbers in complex spreadsheets?If so, this job may be perfect for you!Job Description:The Reconciliation Specialist will report to the Reconciliation Supervisor and reconcile the collections activity and initiate remittance to lenders daily, while adhering to corporate standards and procedures. This position addresses tight deadlines and a variety of activities including cash management, transaction processing, month-end close and audit support preparation.Responsibilities:Prepare daily reconciliation of the collections activity, maintaining the appropriate files, reports and documentationIdentify and resolve outstanding items, communicating with internal and external customersInitiate daily ACH/Wire remittances of the collection's activity to numerous lendersPrepare and generate refunds to borrowers and vendors via check/ACHPrepare journal entries and account reconciliations for multiple bank accountsResearch and resolve uncashed checksPrepare journal entries to record receivables into the accounting system (NetSuite) for invoicing generated to lenders from the servicing systemPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain documentation for existing processes and documenting procedures for new processesRespond to information requests and assist with auditsPerform ad-hoc requests as assignedEducation & Other Minimum RequirementsAssociate degree required or equivalent experience1+ years of accounting experience and/or in similar financial services roleProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively manage several tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness/ability to work late hours when faced with tight deadlines, as neededMust be a team player and collaborate with multiple lines of businessBonus points for:Net Suite experienceCompetitive pay with bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes, but not limited to:401(k) + company match up to 4%Long Term Incentive programMedical, dental, and vision coverageAnnual HSA contribution of $1,600Life insurance, disability, and critical illnessBirthday holiday2 floating Community DaysFree snacks and drinks in the officeTuition reimbursement programGenerous PTO, including Paid Parental Leave$2,000 Vacation Incentive Plan after 3 years + $1,000 Sabbatical DayCommunity funds, wellness funds, and moreLearn more about our benefits by viewing our 2024 Employee Benefits Brochure.Goal Solutions, LLC ("Goal" or the "Company") is an innovative consumer loan servicing and asset management company providing comprehensive and customizable solutions driven by technology, analytics, and industry expertise.Directly or through its subsidiaries, GSS Data Services, Launch Servicing ("Launch") and Turnstile Capital Management ("TCM"), Goal provides primary servicing, asset management, collections management, direct collections, administration, and treasury services.
