Mental Health Therapist

The therapist will provide culturally competent and trauma informed treatment services to individuals and/or families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situation, mental health and/or substance use concerns. The therapist will provide comprehensive assessments, therapy, consultation/case management and make appropriate referrals as needed. This position is ideal for a compassionate and skilled therapist focusing on mental health and/or substance use (SUD).Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.Provides high quality, compassionate and ethical counseling to clients individually to meet treatment goals.Refer clients to other support services including detoxification, intensive programming, psychiatric services, social services programs, and employment services as needed.Maintain detailed and confidential client records in accordance with organizational standards and legal requirements.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical supervision sessions.Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health and addiction treatment.Assess and manage risk on an ongoing basis and adjust level of care and recommendations as needed.Education and Experience:Bachelor or master's level counselor or social workCT, SWT, LPC, LSW, MFT, LPCC, LISW, IMFT, LPCC-S, LISW-S, IMFT-SMust have a valid driver's licenseMust pass background checkBenefits Include:Competitive Salary: We offer a salary package that reflects your skills, experience, and contributions.Generous Time Off: Enjoy 3 weeks of vacation, along with 56 hours sick time, 8 paid holidays, and 4 wellness days per year.
