AMI is seeking per diem X-ray / Radiologic Technologists to join the team! This is a great opportunity to join a growing, dynamic outpatient practice.The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for, but not limited to:Performing radiographic examinations as directed including general radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures;Providing for the safety, health and well being of all patients, visitors and co-workers;Responding to emergency codes and life safety practices as established by the Practice and performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure that optimum radiologic care, efficient and orderly flow of patients and safe, expedient office operation occurs daily;Performing tasks on all assigned shifts to ensure that required patient and office record keeping is accurate, complete and processed as established by policy and procedure;Ensuring that working area equipment, both patient and non-patient related, is hazard-free and that materials and supplies are stocked and available;On a schedule determined by the chief technologist/office administrator, removes dirty gowns and linens from patient areas and washes/dries them on premises as per AMI policy. Must utilize cleaning substances as provided by AMI and as instructed to ensure sanitary outcome; andPerforms other duties as required and assigned.This Per Diem position will provide coverage in the AMI office locations in Somers Point, Galloway, Egg Harbor Township, and Cape May Court House.Potential shift times include days 7:30am-4:30pm and evenings 11:30am-8pm.Eligible applicants for this position must be a graduate or upcoming graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology. Candidates must complete and pass their ARRT boards and have a valid NJ DEP issued Radiologic Technologist license prior to starting, if offered employment. CPR/BLS certification (must include hands-on instruction) is required prior to the start of employment. Candidates must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection. Candidates must be willing to work in varying shift times in AMI office locations.Strong communication skills and a demonstrated knowledge of promoting a positive patient experience are required for this position. Candidates must have intermediate computer skills, a willingness to learn and receive training, and possess the ability to adapt in changing environments.EOE
