Shall have the capability to:• Collect and record, in proper format, medical and social historical data appropriate to the patient's condition.• Perform a general physical examination.• May become the primary care manager for a panel of patients. As a PCM, will be the primary person responsible for the management of the health and wellness of assigned patients.Duties also include:Examination of patients, formulation of differential diagnostic plans, defines and orders required diagnostic testing.• Interpretation of examination findings and test results, and implementation of treatment plans.• Determines the need for consultation and assists in medical care and treatment provided at the direction of other specialists.• Approving/disapproving subspecialty referrals.Additionally Core Duties cover the following:• Answering patient telephone consults with the assistance of clinic staff.• Providing primary and secondary preventive maintenance care.• Admit inpatients as per the local MTF instructions.• Communicate to other health personnel either orally or in writing the findings, diagnosis, and planned treatment regimen.• Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.• Recognize those more complicated cases, initiate treatment (if appropriate), and refer to a higher level of medical expertise for diagnosis and/or treatment.• Plan and initiate proper treatment within defined privileges and the scope of practice of the facility.• Identify and report those situations and individual cases which have public health significance and carry out effective control measures.• Stabilize and manage a patient in a medical or surgical emergency and/or transfer to physician care.• Determine appropriate means of evacuation of emergency patients, prepare patients for evacuation, and arrange for evacuation support.• Perform the following blocks: Digital, Local Infiltration, and Intercostal• Perform urological procedures.• Maintain inpatient and outpatient medical records following MTF treatment regimen.• Stabilize and manage a patient in a medical or surgical emergency and/or transfer to physician care.• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.• Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.• Perform physical exam and health histories.• Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.• Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.• Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals.• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.• Perform nursing services identified in the TO.• Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.Start date:• As soon as possible pending Federal Security Clearance process completion (typically 4-6 weeks after initiation)Schedule:• Mon - Fri: 8 hr shift between 0730-1730 with 1 hr for lunchAbility to commute:• Reliable transportation required and expected for commute to and from work site.Provizor Federal, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
