We are tenacious about serving others; we practice research driven and individualized care; we are givers of hope, joy, and encouragement; we attack the day with enthusiasm; and we share our passion for recovery.The Oxford Center...where healing begins.THE POSITION:Behavior Technician - Brighton - Full-time or Part-time 3-5 days/week (No weekends)ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy targets each child's socially significate behaviors in order to improve their quality of life. The child's progress is tracked and measured. ABA therapy is also used to increase language, communication skills, attention, focus, social skills, memory, and academics.Duties/Responsibilities:Provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients with Autism. You will be supervised by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and will aid in implementing treatment and programs created by the BCBA.Work 1x1 with child with special needsCollect and record data on patient behaviorCollaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clientsCollaborate and communicate with our clinical services team (SLP, OT, PT) assisting with transition of child to their applicable clinical servicesProvide a safe and supportive environment for patients and familiesRequired Skills/Abilities:Desire to serve othersExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalCompassionate and kind demeanorAble to multitaskAble to act decisively and maintain client dignityProficient computer skills required.Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry patientsEducation and Experience:Paid training provided in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)High School diploma or GEDMust be 18 years of age or olderExperience working with children and/or special needs community preferred but not requiredWHAT WE OFFER:Family-oriented work environment with an open-door policyGrowth opportunitiesVacation and Holiday payFull benefits including medical, dental, vision, company-paid short-term disability and life insurance, 401kCompetitive pay based on experience.
