Chief Nursing Executive(CNE/CNO)-American Consultants is looking for a Chief Nursing Executive for a facility in Pontiac, MI. This is permanent position.The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a key leadership role within a healthcare organization, overseeing nursing services and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Here is a general summary of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) role:Chief Nursing Officer - General Summary:The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and operations within a healthcare facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The CNO leads nursing practices, develops strategic nursing initiatives, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and policies. Additionally, the CNO collaborates with other members of the leadership team to align nursing services with the organizations overall goals and mission, while fostering a culture of excellence, professional growth, and collaboration within the nursing department.Key Responsibilities:• Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services across the organization.• Develop and implement nursing strategies that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.• Collaborate with other department heads and leadership to align nursing goals with the organization's strategic vision.• Manage nursing budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation.• Promote a positive work environment focused on professional development, patient safety, and staff well-being.• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care.• Foster collaboration between nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.• Any additional Ad Hoc work or projects as determined by the CEO, COO, or Board of DirectorsRequired Qualifications:• Education: Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field required. A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or MBA is preferred.• Licensure: Active RN license required.• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing, including clinical and administrative responsibilities.• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage a large staff and budget, and effectively collaborate with other executives and departments.
