You will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities. Your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the overall health and happiness of our residents.Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Responsibilities:Administer medications according to physician ordersMonitor residents health status and report any changes to the nursing teamAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)Maintain accurate records of medication administrationProvide emotional support and companionship to residentsQualified Medication Aide (QMA) Qualifications:Valid QMA certification in the state of IndianaHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and patient demeanorAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamQualified Medication Aide (QMA) Physical Demands:Demands Description FrequencyStanding Full weight on tiled or carpeted floors ConstantWalking Required throughout complex. Communication with residents andtheir familiesHearing Necessary for communication, emergency Constantalarms, receiving report from staff,listening to report, receiving telephoneordersSight Necessary for reading pertinent info on ConstantResidents clinical records, visual assess-ments of physical conditions and preventionof falls, injuries, or emergency situationsUse of hands/fingers Necessary for monitoring of pulses, Constantassessments of body parts,using typewriter or computer keyboardQualified Medication Aide (QMA) Benefits:Base pay from $20-$25 per hour.Pay based on experience at an additional $0.25/hour per year up to a maximum of $5.00/hour.Shift Diff of $1.50/hour and Weekend Diff of $1.00 on Saturdays and Sundays.Refer a friend and receive a bonus up to $300 when they stay 90 days, conditions apply.
