This role offers an opportunity for physicians to blend their love of patient care with their management skills, working for the leader in the workplace health industry.Concentra is recognized as the nation's leading occupational health care company and one of "America's Greatest Workplaces," as noted in NewsweekHours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pmLocation: Waukegan, ILResponsibilities:ResponsibilitiesThis 100% clinic-based position provides direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experienceProvides leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of medical model collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closureManages clinicians, support staff, and complies with APC supervisory requirementsCreates a professional and collaborative working environmentWorks with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvementMaintains relationships with center clients and payersWorks with medical clinic leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levelsPromotes, cultivates, and exemplifies Concentra values for all clinic colleaguesFosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement and reward and recognitionPossesses financial awareness and provides input to clinic budget and key business metricsThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
