Promotes self-care activities.* Assumes charge nurse or team leader duties when assigned.* Provides guidance and supervision to LNA's.* Attends in-services, unit and license meetings on a regular basis.* Participates in the Infection Control and Quality assessment and Assurance Program for the facility.* Admits, transfers and discharges residents, completing all the necessary paperwork.* Learn and perform all emergency procedures assigned to your position in the Home's Emergency Manual during drills and emergencies.* Completes AIMS Testing on all resident on Psychotropic medications.* Assists with completing MDS's when necessary.* Assists the Director of Nursing with audits as assigned.* Works every other weekend.* Maintaining medical records including closing of charts.*Note:* Every effort has been made to identify the essential responsibilities of this position.
