Travel Contract - Med Surg/Tele RN

WCS Healthcare is offering up to $2,000/week to a Medical Surgical Nurses for an on-going contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in State College, PA!Job Function:Day Shift7am - 7:30pmPrepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medicationsReports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurseEducates patients on surgical proceduresRecords patients' medical information and vital signsMonitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets/records electronic displaysInitiates corrective action whenever necessaryJob Requirements:Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)Current PA State RN license (or willingness to obtain)1-2 years of acute care experience in this specialtyBLS certification from the American Heart AssociationACLS certification from the American Heart AssociationDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
