Formerly known as Pinnacle Surgery Center, DISC has redefined standards for high-acuity, minimally invasive spine surgery, and complex MSK in an outpatient setting, ensuring both safety and quality.We are actively seeking motivated and conscientious individuals to join our team!Position Summary:Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day operations of the facility to achieve facility goals and objectives, encompassing both business office and clinical operations.Essential Competencies/Performance Expectations:Fiscal Management:Produce analyses and reports on budget variances.Meet established financial objectives, striving to stay within budgeted guidelines.Oversee business office functions, for an efficient accounts receivable process, includes assisting with queries related to including coding and claims processing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure efficient cash flow.Compile data and prepare regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses, and financial statements, including annual audits.Direct staff to explore opportunities for revenue increases and expense decreases.Contract Management:Effectively execute contracts to ensure the ability to provide services to all surgeon clients.Annually review contracts to ensure financial viability.Direct the administration of third-party claims under managed care contract terms.Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure contract compliance and maintain appropriate controls.Educate staff on new contract obligations and responsibilities.Business Management:Develop business office objectives, establish staffing patterns, and organize workload.Interact with the Clinical Director, medical staff, and Governing Body to ensure close coordination of business office functions and goal-directed performance.Recommend and establish credit and collections policies, implement systems for collection of delinquent accounts, and resolve difficult payment and associated receivables management problems.Work closely with management information systems and vendor support staff to implement labor-saving system enhancements.Maintain and/or monitor appropriate financial and statistical records reflecting the status of accounts receivable and managed care claims.Clinical Management:Develop clinical objectives, establish staffing patterns, and organize workload.MUST be able to admit and recover in Pre Op and PACU as needed.Ensure the facility's licenses, certifications, and/or accreditations are achieved and maintained.Serve as a member of the Administrative Committees and all Quality Committees.Achieve and maintain a high level of service to patients and surgeons.Plan, implement, and evaluate improvements in the delivery of care, employee satisfaction, and other quality assessment and performance improvement, and risk management activities.Facility Management:Actively participate in planning and designing policies and procedures.Identify work-related improvement opportunities and analyze them to find solutions.Act decisively to implement solutions to resolve critical issues or improve processes.Communicate a clear understanding of job responsibilities, task objectives, deadlines, and performance expectations.Meet regularly with department managers to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.Staff Development:Exhibit competence in staff selection.Provide a clear description of duties and responsibilities to staff.Provide ongoing department orientation to staff, including safety training.Delegate tasks to qualified staff members.Adhere to established policies and procedures, setting an example of appropriate behavior.Discuss changes that directly affect individuals or general staff prior to change, encourage suggestions, and invite participation in decision-making.Allow staff to have substantial responsibility and discretion in carrying out work activities, handling problems, and making important decisions.Provide coaching to facilitate employee skill acquisition, professional development, and career advancement.Facilitate the constructive resolution of conflict.Encourage cooperation, teamwork, and job ownership.Provide praise, recognition, and appreciation for effective performance, significant achievements, and special contributions.#TriasMDHiCam1Minimum Requirements:MUST be an OR Nurse with an active CA license.Education/Experience/Licenses/Certificates/Eligibility: Preferred DON and ASC Administrator experience.Fundamental management skills of planning, organizing, facilitating, coordinating, collaborating, and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with organizational subordinates, peers, and superiors.Strong computer skills including MS Office package, email, and time management software.Job Type:Full-timeSalary:$180,000.00 - $230,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location:In person
